We are a steel cable reel manufacturers from several years: we manufacture a large line of metal reels for steel wire and cable industry suitable for drawing process, stranding process and also lightweight reel for transportation or high voltage cable reels.
Our steel reels are available in many models with different specifications according to the required application. GMP Reels supplies metal wire reels in steel, stainless steel and aluminium.
The range of products is very wide and includes fully machined steel reels used for copper and aluminium drawing process as well as semi machined reels used for stranding steel wire process.
Flange pressed steel reels are also available: double flange is required for drawing of copper or aluminium wire, single flange is required for buncher and lightweight reel is used in one-way or multi-trip application.
Corrugated drums can be used for cable and rope process (reinforced version) or can be supplied for transportation and are available in knock down version also.
Metal cable drums are available in structural version with flat flange and can have reinforced barrel and changeable bushings for drum twister application. All our reels can be dynamically or statically balanced as requested in wire and cable manufacturing.
Customized solutions
Steel reels sizes and dimensions are as per DIN standard but can be customized according to customer need. The surface of our metal cable reels can be painted with a large shade of epoxy colors, or can be powder coated and galvanized.
