Collapsible reel suitable as coil lifter

The patented take apart reel can work as a coil lifter: with lifting rings in “LIFTING” position the barrel expand during lifting operation and take the coil up. With lifting rings in “FREE” position, barrel collapse during lifting operation and sets the coil free.

• All internal parts are manufactures with hardened steel.
• It can be dynamically balanced and it is machined on the parts in contact with the wire.
• It’s available for 800 mm diameter flange and over.
• It can be supplied with 4, 6 or 8 slots for metal straps insertion and can be also supplied with circular slots in the flanges to fit cardboard barrel.

It can be supplied with changeable flanges to make coils having a different width.

To prevent wearing problems, due to the high rotation speed, hardened changeable bushings are recommended.
